Find peace & hope when life feels overwhelming

Bee-Themed Heart Design

Rose & Honey Counseling is a woman-owned, fully virtual practice that provides LGBTQIA+ affirming, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed care to treat issues including anxiety, burnout, life transitions, depression, addiction, interpersonal conflict, and building identity after deconstructing or exiting a religious community.

The heart of our work

The name, Rose & Honey Counseling, was chosen with intention to reflect the values that guide our therapeutic process. The rose represents care, tenderness, and the importance of slowing down and being present—much like the sentiment behind the phrase “stop and smell the roses.” Honey symbolizes healing, patience, and the strength found in connection and community. Together, these elements reflect Rose & Honey Counseling’s commitment to providing a supportive space where individuals can slow down, feel connected, and move toward healing and growth.
